EBOLA ALARM IN HAMBURG,GERMANY



The Ebola scare that stormed Hamburg City,Germany last night has been debunked this morning by the official spokesman of the Hamburg University Hospital Eppendorf (UKE)

The Suspected patient was discharged from the isolation ward this morning by 7.10am a spokesman for the Hamburg University Hospital Eppendorf said Sunday morning.

The fear was ernormous! it was feared that the 28 year old man from Freetown (Sierra Leone) had brought the deadly virus to Germany.

The man travelled to Paris from Freetown on the 7th of August 2014 (07.08.2014) from where he came into Hamburg.Since his arrival in Hamburg he has been staying in an apartment in Hamburg -Hummelsbüttel.

Around 2pm Saturday (Yesterday), the man complained of fever and was also vomiting.
This obvious symptoms of Ebola virus triggered the Alarm.

He was transported with an ambulance to the Heidberg Hospital (Klinikum Heidberg).Where he was moved into the emergency section (Notaufnahme). Initially, it was unclear whether the man had come in contact with Ebola patients, subsequently, he was transferred to an isolation room.

At about 10pm the man was eventually transferred to the special ward at the University Hospital (UKE) with the aid of an infection ambulance.
The ambulance was accompanied during the journey by more than 6 police patrol vans.

At the moment Police have ceiled the apartment and neigbouring buildings around Poppenbüttlerweg
This according to the police is a precautionary measure while reasuuring the members of the public that there was no cause for alarm.
